Rooms
The Inn was built in 1880 and until 1998 it was a private home. When it was converted into an Inn each room was created with its own unique style. All of the rooms are furnished with some antiques and art (most from local artists) and include: a sitting area, a desk, either a queen or king sized bed (several have pull-out sofas (double sized) or an additional twin bed), ceiling fans, an air conditioner, a private bathroom with hair dryer, shampoo etc, An iron or steamer and ironing board are available upon request. We use comphy brand linens and there is free wi-fi throughout the building and carriage house. There is limited on-site parking including a first generation Tesla charger.
The rooms in the Inn are all located on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The Carriage House rooms are on the 1st floor. All room rates are based on double occupancy. Each additional guest is $39/per night. We welcome children 12 and over.
All reservations include a homemade full breakfast and nightly desserts. We serve locally roasted coffee from Forty Weigh Coffee Roasters and desserts are baked in house. If you have an additional guest joining you for breakfast please let us know 48 hours in advance. An extra breakfast is $25

Rooms in the Inn
The Sanctuary
A bright corner room with a Queen sized bed, couch and desk. The windows overlook the church steeple across the street which also happens to be designed by William Henry Miller. There is a large bathroom with a whirlpool tub and separate shower as well as a double vanity. This room is great for a romantic weekend away or a little me time. 2nd Floor.
The Library
A cozy room with a Queen cherry sleigh bed, built in bookshelves, a gas fireplace and spacious sitting area with a pull out sofa bed (double) and an antique desk. There is a shower and a single vanity. 2nd Floor.
Dane’s Room
A large room with a king sized bed, seating area, desk and armoire. It is decorated with works from local artists and has a large bathroom with a rain shower and double vanity. Can be connected to the Quarters for a group traveling together. It is our most popular room with guests looking for that mansion living experience. 2nd Floor.
The Quarters
Tucked in the corner, it is different from our other rooms in that the bedroom and bathroom are separated by a very short hallway within the room. There is a Queen sized bed, seating area, a desk and room darkening shades. The shower is equipped with a seat and there is a single vanity. Decorated with a bird theme including many prints from a local artists. Can be connected to the Danes room for a group traveling together. 2nd Floor.
Top of the Stairs
The name says it all. It’s located at the top of the stairs…This room can accommodate three people (additional rates apply). It has slanted ceilings, a mission style Queen bed as well as a twin bed, seating area, a desk and a shower with a single vanity. Great room for parents visiting one of the colleges with their teen child. 3rd Floor.
The Turret
A charming space in the alcove in the top of the tower portion of the house. There is a Queen sized bed, seating area, a desk and a single bed tucked in the turret and it can accommodate three people (additional rates apply). There is a shower and a single vanity. This is our most unique room. 3rd Floor.
The Retreat
A spacious room with a beautiful four poster Queen sized bed and a cozy sitting area with lots of bright light (due to its southern exposure) and a desk. There is a shower and a single vanity. 3rd Floor.

The Garner Suite in the Carriage House
The suite’s main room has King bed, mini refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker. In the sitting room, the sofa becomes a double pullout bed. Very large private bath with two person jacuzzi, separate shower, double vanity and bidet. Please note that in the warmer months the door between the bedroom and seating area/pull out couch must remain open so the a/c can cool the whole space. The Garner Suite can accommodate up to four guests. (additional rates apply). Well behaved dogs are welcome (additional fee) in this suite with advance notice. Please refer to our Pet policy under the Plan Your Stay section of our web site. Can be connected to the Aurora room for a group traveling together. This is a great room for guests staying for more than a couple days. Ground floor
Aurora in The Carriage House
A quiet room featuring a Queen bed, sitting area, desk, mini refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker and a walk/roll in shower. The room is wheelchair accessible. It can be connected to the Garner Suite for a group traveling together. Ground floor.
Carriage House Apartment
The Carriage House Apartment is located on the 2nd floor of our carriage house at the end of our driveway. A great place to stay downtown for a few days or more. Includes living room, dining area, bathroom-tub and shower, stocked kitchen (pots and pans, dishes, silverware, refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker) a small bedroom off the living room (no door) with a twin bed and a bedroom with a queen bed. The living room has great views of our backyard. The apartment has a more modern feel compared to the rest of the Inn. Max number of people is 3. Room rate is for 2 people. Additional guests are $39/night. The apartment requires a minimum stay.
