Things You Should Know
BOOKING
When booking a room, please make sure you are using our website for the lowest rates. Despite what some sites advertise they are not less expensive. If you do book through a 3rd party make sure it is one of our partners: Expedia, Booking.com ,or Trip Advisor. Any other site may be offering prices that don’t exist and some will lead you to believe you are speaking with us but you’re not. If you use a booking site other than ours or our partners we are not responsible for the rate you pay or any other guarantees they may make like a shorter cancelation policy. We also can’t help with cancelations or changes.
PAYMENT
At the time of your reservation, we request a credit card to hold your stay. Your card will be charged the day of your arrival. In the event that your plans change after your reservation is made, cancellation notice must be received within 72 hours of your scheduled arrival. See our cancelation policy.
Cancelation Policy
We have a cancellation policy of 72 hours. We ask that you either text: 607-375-7089 or email innkeeper@millerinn.com to let us know you need to cancel. Should you cancel in a time less than 72 hours, we will attempt to re-book your room. If we are unable to re-book we will need to charge you a cancelation fee (room rate less all taxes) for your full stay, no exceptions. If you are concerned about a possible last minute cancelation we suggest that you purchase trip insurance. We are a small property and cannot absorb the cost of canceled rooms should you become ill or cannot come for any other reason.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
We have self check-in so you may arrive anytime after 3pm. Check out is by 11am. If you’d like an early check in or late check out please make arrangements in advance. There is a $25 fee.
HOUSE RULES
Our Inn is a non-smoking space and no open flames are allowed in or around the building. Due to the historical and architectural nature of the Inn, we welcome children over the age of 12.
PETS
Dogs are welcome in the Garner Suite ONLY in our carriage house for a fee of $25 per stay. Pets are not allowed inside the main Inn. Dogs must be housebroken and it is the owner’s responsibility to clean up after them, potty pads are not permitted. Dogs must be on a leash at any time on the property, also a city ordinance. Pets must also be on flea and tick prevention and current on all vaccinations. If the dog will be left alone in the room we request that they be crated and not be a disruption to other guests by barking or crying. In the event that pets or owners fail to comply with any of the above, they will be asked to kennel their pet or leave the premises. Under these circumstances, there will be no refund or reduction in rate for a shortened stay.

The William Henry Miller Inn is located in downtown Ithaca, just a few blocks away from the beautiful Ithaca Commons and just down the hill from both Cornell University and Ithaca College.
